This site uses a small number of cookies and similar browser storage to keep the shop working and, with your consent, to understand how the site is used. We do not use any third-party advertising trackers.
Strictly necessary
These are essential to run the site and do not require consent.
bv_cart— your basket (items and quantities), stored in your browser.bv_recent— the last few products you looked at.bv_cookie_consent— stores your accept/decline choice on the banner so we don't ask again.- Authentication — if you sign in, our auth provider sets a session cookie/token so you stay logged in.
- Stripe — Stripe sets its own cookies during the checkout modal for fraud prevention (see stripe.com/cookie-settings).
Analytics (optional — consent required)
If you accept on the cookie banner, we enable first-party analytics run on our own servers. If you decline, none of the items below are collected.
bv_sid/bv_vid— a random session and visitor identifier so we can count unique visits without identifying you.bv_cart_sid— a random cart identifier so we can spot abandoned baskets.- Page view records — the page you viewed, the referring URL, your device type, and (on the server) your IP address and user agent. Used to understand traffic and detect abuse.
- Cart snapshots — items and subtotal in your basket so we can flag abandoned checkouts.
Order & fraud logs
When you place an order we record the IP address the checkout was completed from. This is used for fraud prevention and chargeback defence and is kept alongside the order — see our Privacy Policy.
Marketing
We currently do not run any marketing pixels (Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, etc.). If that ever changes we will update this policy and only load them after you consent.
Changing your choice
Clear bv_cookie_consent in your browser's site data to see the banner again, or block cookies entirely in your browser settings. Blocking strictly-necessary items will break the basket and sign-in.
